Families are complicated: loving, stressful, messy, and beautiful all at once. My work in community mental health gave me the opportunity to meet families in all types of circumstances: conflict, transition, cultural tension, misunderstanding, grief, and everything in between. That background shapes the way I support families now. I work with families of all structures and backgrounds - two-parent households, single-parent families, blended families, co-parenting situations, multigenerational households, and families navigating cultural or immigration-related dynamics.
My role is to help everyone understand what’s underneath the surface: the emotions, patterns, expectations, and communication styles that shape daily life.
I stay calm, grounded, and balanced, even when conversations get tense, so families feel safe enough to be honest and open. Whether you’re going through a major transition or dealing with long-standing challenges, family therapy creates space for each member to feel heard and for the family to start moving forward together.

I see families in person at my Echo Park office, which is accessible from Silver Lake, Los Feliz, Atwater Village, Highland Park, Eagle Rock, and surrounding neighborhoods. For families across Los Angeles and throughout California, telehealth makes it possible to work together consistently without the logistics of getting everyone in the car at the same time.
We’ll begin with a consultation to talk about what’s happening at home and what each person is hoping for. From there, we’ll decide who should attend the first session and outline a plan that supports the entire family.
